Lens Studio Home Page

When you first open Lens Studio, you are greeted with the Project page.

You can access the home page by clicking on the home icon in the top left of the window.

The home page provides you with a starting point for getting inspired, or continuing your next great Lens.

In the header section, you can access the resources surrounding Lens Studio.

Press the Check for Updates link to make sure you have access to the latest capabilities.

In the right side, you have access to the

  • Guides: where you can learn Lens Studio through tutorials.
  • Documentation: where you can dive deep through Lens Studio's capability (you're here now!).
  • Discord: where you can learn and create together with our community.

News Banner​

You can keep up to date with the latest feature, new examples or tutorials, or what you’re up to in the Lens Studio banner.

Start New Projects​

Lenses can surface on a wide variety of platform, from within Snapchat, to other apps and on the web via Camera Kit, and even on AR Glasses through Spectacles.

These starter projects come with some of the basic set ups used for each platform. Alternatively, choose Default to start with an empty project!

Recent Projects​

In the next section, you can quickly open your recent projects. These will continue to get populated as you work more with Lens Studio!

Sample Projects​

Sample Projects are a great way to explore new Lens Studio features, as well as kick off your next project.

You can see more content by pressing on the down arrow button ().

Project Page​

You can always go back by pressing the arrow back () on the top left of Lens Studio. Note, your project will stay open even if you're on the home page.
