Wicker
As digital artists, we constantly struggle with finding the perfect reference poses for our drawings. Traditional reference photos are static, limited in variety, and often don't match the exact perspective or pose we envision in our minds. We wanted to break free from these constraints and create something that could bring any pose idea directly into our field of vision. The inspiration came from the realization that artists need dynamic, customizable references that can adapt to their creative vision in real-time. Instead of searching through hundreds of static reference images, what if we could simply speak our vision into existence and interact with it directly in augmented reality?

ShopAR
We apply the Shopify Storefront API to collect product details from a specific vendor, which will pull data including product descriptions, names, and renderings, as well as physical measurements. We utilize a diffusion model with an API provided by Meshy to convert our 2D product illustration into a 3D model. We then scale our generated model with the collected measurements and import it into Lens Studio, where we further apply texturing + physics and cloth simulation, as appropriate. Finally, we upload this data to the Spectacles, where potential users can interact and move the selected product throughout the environment.
CareNova
A few months ago, I was visiting a busy clinic as part of my research. The waiting room was packed. A small child was squirming in her mother's lap, kicking her shoes and pulling at the sleeves of her jacket. The mother whispered calming words but her eyes were weary. Across the room, an elderly man shifted uncomfortably, glancing at the clock every few seconds. A teenager tapped impatiently on their phone, sighing every time the nurse walked past without calling their name

Post-it
Post It uses Augmented Reality through Snap Spectacles to bring digital sticky notes into the real world. You place a note by tapping on a location in front of you which anchors a sticky to that spot. Then, add your message to display on the note - for example, "Hidden mural around the corner, picture worthy!" Each note is processed through Gemini AI, followed by Snap's 3D modeling to generate a symbolic icon (a book for a study spot, a cup for a cafΓ©, etc.). Nearby users see these icons anchored in space, and with a tap they can reveal the sticky note itself. They can switch between the text and the icon. The result is a dynamic, collaborative way to share and discover hidden gems right where they matter most.
SpectacularAR
The user simply tells the lens which song they want, and the experience begins. Our system fetches the lyrics, generates descriptions of 3D objects to appear at specific moments, and retrieves the audio file. We then use Snap's 3D object generation AI to bring those objects to life. A beat-sensing algorithm synchronizes pulses, while a color-mapping algorithm assigns dynamic visuals to the music. Each correct answer allows them to ask another questionβwrong answers mean waiting for the next turn. The game ends when the guesser correctly identifies their character.
Peckin Pigeons
Ideation: Natalie said "What if you have to fight a giant boss pigeon?" and the game ideas just kept flowing from this premise. Planning: After we captured the use cases and defined the MVP, Mary Anne organized the Sprint Plan and a Product backlog and kept the team focused with a storyboard. Modeling: Glitter jumped into blender and started building Models, then while Natasha researching assets and prepping files for import Development: Thomas used the Snap Spectacles' Connected Lenses in Lens Studio, first setting up multiplayer and then prototyping the hand gestures and object interactions. Natasha worked closely with Thomas to refine game interactions.
Glimpse of You
Glimpse of You lets two people explore a museum (or any scanned space) togetherβlive or async, in the same room or across the globeβleaving voice notes, emoji reactions, and memories, while being able to explore by interacting with artifacts in an environment.
Context AR
When users enter the app, an instance of the user is instantiated, and we invite users to speak into the Spectacles Mic to describe their mood, availability, and desire to talk to others. Based on their voice input we transcribe this and send the transcription to our AI, which decides if the user's status is one of four colors: Red representing angry, Blue representing being focused and locked in (DND mode), Green representing an eagerness to meet others and be approachable, and Yellow representing a weaker desire to communicate, potentially causing irritation if approached. Once the AI chooses the best color based on their voice input, a circular colored status is shown above their heads on a box, allowing other users in the environment to see their status. This truly helps people know who to talk to and who not to bother.
All Aboard
ALL ABOARD is a gentle AR obstacle course game that requires two players. Player One draws an AR path on the floor that turns into a small river. Once the river is formed, a boat appears with a rope coming out of either side. Player One and Player Two stand on opposite banks of the river and each pick up a rope. Walking together, they steer the boat down the river using the ropes to their destination (i.e. a lighthouse) while avoiding running the boat into the river banks.
Space Jam
Notice: You're walking through a park and notice a pulsing beat visualization Discovery: Someone has dropped a beat alreadyβyou can hear and see their musical contribution Participation: You add your own beat, now visible to others Connection: A third person joins, adding another layerβnow jamming together without words Community: You've created a temporary micro-community through music.
kARaoke
Karaoke AR (kARaoke) lets users wearing Snapchat Spectacles join a shared karaoke session. They can sing along with a floating lyrics screen, take turns in the spotlight, react with emojis, and unlock AR effects like confetti and disco balls triggered by loud, confident singing. A live leaderboard wraps up the experience.
Gorilla 100
Gorilla 100 lets users embody either the Gorilla or one of the 100 Men in a fun, cinematic AR showdown. The lens stages a dramatic face-off, complete with stylized animations, slow-motion effects, and over-the-top sound design. It encourages users to pick a side, record their take, and share it β fueling debate and virality.
Popped
The game starts with both players confirming their starting position. Each round, the players get one shot to pop the other's balloon. The limited shots make each attempt valuable, and heighten the tension of a miss. The game ends once one player pops the other's balloon.
My Singing Animals
While wearing Snap Spectacles, you can see different animals appear in your world β and when you touch them, they produce sounds or musical notes. At the same time, your player partner can join in by moving their own animals, adding their unique sounds to the mix. Each animal brings its own distinct sound or rhythm, and together you create a one-of-a-kind musical collaboration, blending all the elements into a fun, interactive tune.
Lumos
LumosCare is a comprehensive memory assistance system designed to support both patients with Alzheimer's and their caregivers through a seamless and dignified experience.
Wayfinder AI
We built this project to solve a universal problem: the struggle of deciding where to go and what to do, whether you're at home or exploring a new place. From the simple scenario of being bored on a lazy Sunday afternoon to the more complex situation of being lost in a foreign country, WayFinder AI aims to be your personal exploration companion.
Fynd
Fynd empowers users to make faster, smarter decisions by combining AI-driven product aggregation with an intuitive interface, reducing decision fatigue and endless scrolling. Here's a breakdown of our project:
Ghostface Cookah
Imagine cooking your favorite dish, hands covered in flour, without ever needing to touch your phone or flip through a recipe book. Our project turns Snapchat Spectacles into your personal kitchen assistant β overlaying step-by-step recipe videos right onto your real-world cooking space, with voice commands to pause, play, or skip ahead. It's hands-free, hassle-free cooking made simple, perfect for beginners and busy home chefs alike.
Pulse
When someone collapses from cardiac arrest, every second matters. Yet most people freeze because they are unsure how to help. Only 20% of Americans are current with CPR training, and even fewer feel confident enough to act under pressure.
Pedagogles
The inspiration for Pedagoggles came from the desire to create a more inclusive and efficient learning experience for students, particularly those who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as anyone looking for an enhanced way to process and review class material.
SnapDrobe
I've always loved technology and AI, but fashion has never really been my strong suit. Picking out outfits, matching clothes, it's something I've struggled with more often than not. When our team got access to the new Snap Spectacles with AR/VR capabilities, we saw an opportunity to bridge that gap.
SnapShot
With the recent NBA playoffs, we as a group found ourselves watching a game together where we realized the vast difference in our knowledge of basketball as a sport.
FetchMy
Our inspiration came from us losing things all the time. Whether it is our wallet, phone, keys, glasses, etc., it is so easy to misplace things and spend unnecessary time or money looking for them. This is why we created FetchMy.
SnapAid
SnapAid empowers vulnerable individuals by delivering quick, empathetic healthcare triage and critical resource discovery through voice and image-based interactions. Users can speak naturally or upload a photo of an injury or condition. SnapAid's backend uses multimodal AI.
ARmigo
Have you ever felt alone, stressed, or wished you could easily talk to a close friend, a professional therapist, or even just a comforting, playful puppy? We feel you, and that's exactly what inspired us. We believe augmented reality (AR) has the power to create real emotional connections with others through our senses.
NeuroNudge
We designed two playful, movement-based games to help people with Parkinson's disease improve their motor control and balance:
Memory Hive
Shortly before LA Hacks, we met each other for the first time, and wanted to connect and bond so we could form a stronger team. However, we found it difficult to connect beyond the realm of small talk in the short amount of time we had before the hackathon, and even though two of us knew each other beforehand, we discovered we didn't know much about each other.
Specnote
We've all been there--you're following along with lecture and turn to jot down some notes. Barely a second passes, and all of a sudden the whiteboard is full. You're going to have to spend the rest of class catching up!
Accessible AR
AR is the future vessel for AI, and that future should be inclusive to everyone. That is why we developed Accessible AR: an app that brings virtual world building through sign language.
AirFQ
Looking out of your window on a long plane journey and seeing that you are entering a thunderstorm is a scary feeling. Doing the same from the pilot's seat? Even scarier.
Tenshi
In critical emergencies, every second counts β yet bystanders often hesitate because they don't know what to do, and first responders frequently arrive without a full understanding of the situation.
Spectacle Music
Life is about living in the moment. Having used Meta Ray-Bans and felt frustrated about not having the perfect song on the go, we knew Snap Spectacles could capture that moment better with its AR capabilities and developer-friendly interface.
Museum's Wit
You'd think that'd be engaging enough to stick with. But then it's Room 7 of "trying to appreciate cultural significance," and you're facing your fifteenth portrait of some historical figure, with the same sterile description, feeling the same creeping gallery fatigue.
MemoAR
That one scene in Cocoβwhen Miguel sings to Mama Coco, and her eyes light up as memories rush backβreminds us that memory is more than information. It's identity. It's connection. And when dementia takes that away, it doesn't just affect the personβit affects the whole family.
UniTalk
We created Uni Talk after experiencing firsthand the challenges of communication and wanted to break traditional language barriers. In professional settings, remembering names, identifying mutual connections, and maintaining meaningful conversations can be difficult. Uni Talk transforms these challenges into opportunities by providing timely assistance or translation when you need it most.
Hello, World
Language barriers are a common challenge faced by millions of people when trying to learn English or communicate in new environments. Difficulty in expressing oneself fluently often leads to feelings of isolation, missed opportunities, and lack of confidence β whether in social settings or professional contexts.
Sketchify
The inspiration for Sketchify came from the idea of seamlessly blending the physical world with digital art. Many artists struggle with transforming real-world objects or scenes into a precise drawing. We wanted to create an app that would make this process simple and intuitive by scanning real-world images and transforming them into clean, outline-style drawings with just a click.
CircuitAR
Back in middle school most of our team got the chance to try out Snap Circuits, which gave us the chance to build various circuit machines in a really easy and satisfying manner. However, these are both small and pricey, putting a limit to the creativity that one can express.
Desk Buddy
A little buddy to help you if you need while you work? Someone to give it to you straight, or to help you through your daily life? you need a buddy to help you navigate your setup and help you out when needed? That's what Desk Buddy is for! We built Desk Buddy because we love that future of an fun holographic assistant, inspired by cute avatars that sit on your screen like Clippy, Bonzi Buddy (but he's not a virus, we promise), and Merlin. Except instead on your screen, Desk Buddy sits on your desk!
Running Buddy
Running is simple. Left foot, right foot, repeat. You'd think that'd be easy to stick with. But then it's Week 3 of "trying to get back into it," and you're out on the same route, at the same pace, listening to the same playlist. Your legs hurt. Your soul hurts. You start bargaining with yourself around kilometer three:
Kaantaa
With our eyes set on joining the Snap Spectacles track and being given the theme of "Illumination", we immediately thought of augmented reality applications oriented towards education and learning. We were inspired by the Japanese language learning game, Shashingo, where players take photos of objects around a fictional city and learn vocabularies. We wanted to implement something similar but in reality instead.
Lengua Learn
LenguaLearn utilizes the Snap Spectacles to make an immersive language-learning experience. As users follow their daily routine, encountered objects will be labelled with their translations. To illuminate their understanding, they can interact with the labels for an audio pronunciation. Ideal for language learners, LinguaLife seamlessly integrates everyday life. And, our app helps reinforce vocabulary through visual and contextual association.
Cue Tips
Social cues can be tricky for individuals on the autism spectrum, especially kids. A lot of assistive tech is bulky or clinical, and we wanted to make something that felt natural and non-intrusiveβsomething you could just put on and use. That's where the idea came from: leveraging Snapchat Spectacles and AR to help people better understand and respond to emotions in real time.
Nav AI
NavAI reimagines navigation by integrating immersive AR with AI-driven natural language understanding and image analysis. With voice-activated queries and real-time AR map overlays, users can effortlessly discover points of interest and obtain contextual informationβall without ever pulling out their phone.
Auro
I was inspired by the realization that XR still lacks a real, repeatable use caseβone that is as simple as it is effective. AR has the unique ability to let you remain in your environment while focusing on elements that enhance your daily journey toward becoming a more intentional human in an attention-driven economy. With more distractions than ever before, I saw an opportunity to create a tool that helps you isolate and prioritize what truly matters.
Blossom
We began our hackathon journey as many doβoverflowing with ideas, yet struggling to agree on a single direction. Our whiteboard quickly became cluttered with concepts, none of which felt quite right. We weren't lacking creativity; we were lacking alignment. That's when it clicked: what if we built a tool to help people like us figure out what actually matters to them?
Calm Lens
Overview: CalmLens is a Snapchat AR lens designed to help users confront and gradually desensitize their fears or anxieties through guided micro-exposures, directly on their phones. This makes therapy more accessible, stigma-free, and personalized.
Nutri Lens
Over 93% of people worldwide have little awareness of what they're truly putting into their bodiesβand how it impacts their health. Existing tracking apps are tedious, manual, and often ignored. We asked: What if tracking nutrition was effortless?
Spec Ops
The classic birthday tradition, a favorite of kids and adults, and something that was once restricted to overpriced backrooms of arcades, now Laser Tag is accessible to anyone with Spectacles! From the comfort of your home, the chaos of the outdoors, and anywhere you can imagine, challenge your friends to everyone's favorite game. Experience the nostalgia of your childhood alongside the futuristic technology exclusive to Snap Spectacles' incredible AR experience.
Echoes
Traditional Media was a big inspiration on this project, with the concept revolving around how social media can be expanded upon through the lens of XR. The idea of placing notes around reflects posting on social media with the twist that it gets you out and about with your local community.
Profjector
Education is at a turning point. While technology is evolving rapidly, the tools we use to teachβespecially in traditional classroom settingsβhave largely remained the same. We set out to explore how we could use immersive technology to make lectures more interactive, intuitive, and dynamic.

Clarifi AI brings your favorite concerts right to you by overlaying live, real-time lyrics and subtle spatial cues onto your view through Snap Spectacles. It's a complete AR solution that makes sure even if you're stuck in the back row, you won't miss a single beat or word of the performance. In short, it gives you an immersive, augmented experience that transforms how you enjoy live music, making every seat feel like the best seat in the house.
Balance +
Balance+ is a Tai Chi-inspired AR game designed to transform balance training into a fun, immersive, and collaborative experience for seniors and their families
FootPrints
We bring people together with AR on Snap Spectacles. People today feel less connected and social despite endless opportunities for online connection. Tourists and outdoor adventurers spend significant time on social media finding experiences and recommendations from other travelers in their community. We want to build authentic hyperlocal communities for content sharing by enabling people to leave virtual trails to guide others to share their experience of a place.
Mind Bubble
We wanted to create a seamless way to explore location-based insights and social media content using cutting-edge AR and VR technologies. By integrating AI and geospatial tools, we sought to offer users an interactive experience that connects them with relevant and meaningful information tied to their environment. Our goal was to reimagine how people engage with past events, social trends, and places.
Spectacular Trainer
Our inspiration came from hearing about star football player, Jayden Daniels using AR to improve his football skills, which helped him become one of the top rookies in the game. Additionally, working out at home and struggling to perform exercises correctly highlighted the need for accessible fitness solutions. Not everyone can afford a personal trainer, which motivated us to create SpectaculAR trAIner to bring expert guidance to anyone, anywhere.
YEIGO
By creating YEIGO [yay-go], our team is driven by the goal to create access to an AR mobility aid ensuring that people who use walkers have the right information making height and posture adjustments when using a walker, which will prevent further strain and injury- 55% of walker users use them at the wrong height, and 47,000 people are injured a year through incorrect mobility aid usage.
SpecJams
SpecJams allows users to create music collaboratively in real-world settings using AR glasses. By interacting with simple 3D objects like cubes, spheres, and cylinders, users can generate beats, melodies, and rhythms. Tapping objects triggers musical elements, and together, users can build unique soundscapes, all while staying connected in a shared physical space.
GhostCatch
Two players share a space together. A 30 second timer starts, and a ghost appears in a random location in the space. The first person to 'catch' the ghost by reaching their hand out gets a point, and the ghost then spawns to a new location. The player with the most points after the timer completes, wins.
Ice Breaker
ICEBREAKER is a collaborative AR game where 2 team of players guide each other to collect virtual objects. The twist? Players cannot see their own objects. Success relies on clear communication and teamwork, with the goal of collecting the most objects before time runs out. The game features dynamic object spawning, real-time scoring, and a timer to keep the energy high and the gameplay thrilling.

Moov isn't just another fitness app; it's a new way to think about health! By mixing AR tech with workouts and nutrition tracking, we're here to help young adults live healthier lives.
NEURODIVERGENCE & DIVERSITY
We designed two lenses to assist neurodivergent individuals in improving focus and managing daily tasks: Task Prioritisation Users create a prioritised list of tasks with time durations. The lens overlays the task list on their workstation (e.g., computer or book) via AR, which can be repositioned. Tasks can be started one at a time, with a progress bar showing completion status. Users can mark tasks as complete, adjust durations, or move to the next task if they finish early. A Next Break feature reminds users to take breaks after working continuously for a set time, offering quick options like meditation or exercises. If users wander away from their workstation (more than 1.5 meters), the lens prompts them to return and rewards them with a fun sound upon resuming work.
ARCAD

Squash Camp
You can hit a ball. tracks the position and angle of the racket upon impact and will be able to address your struggles when it comes to touching rackets and playing with them in the right position.
Rune Wars or Treejans
We wanted to leverage AR to (1) transform the real environment into a new place in history, (2) connect people through shared memories, and (3) encourage people to MOVE, countering tech's tendency to limit users to sedentary spaces. Inspired by RamenVR's prompt on building environments reimagined for ancient civilizations, we drew on themes from various ancient cultures, like dynasty clashes in ancient China, runes and carvings from Mesopotamian cultures, and homage to tribal lands like that of the Muwekma-Olone people.
9 Lives
The player navigates their cat avatar through a series of blockages by building a safe path using a multitude of different blocks. The weightless nature of the blocks allow the player to develop different solutions to save the avatar from its fiery fate. Players face increasing challenges at each level, requiring quick thinking and strategic planning as they construct structures to ensure the cat's survival. With only nine lives to complete the journey, every decision counts!
Splat
Splat is an AR game that lets users paint their surroundings using their voices -- the most primal & powerful form of human expression. As the user sings/talks their pitch and volume directly influence the colors and styles of the paint they're applying; higher pitches produce warmer colors, while lower tones create cooler hues.
Immersive Ink
As soon as you put on Spectacles and launch our app, it starts searching for text in the camera feed. With a pinch gesture, you can capture the text in front of you using AI-powered Optical Character Recognition (OCR). The captured text is passed into a GPT Large Language Model (LLM) that extracts the noun corresponding to the main character / object in the text. This is used to prompt a Meshy API for AI-powered Text-to-3D generation. This API returns a detailed and beautiful 3D model of the LLM prompted object and places it in front of you as you're reading the text. Simultaneously, AI-generated speech starts to read the text to you, creating the sensation of a 3D character springing from the book to tell you its story.
Forkast
Forkast is an innovative augmented reality experience designed for Snap Spectacles, allowing users to browse a restaurant menu visually. With this experience, users can view every dish in 3D right in front of them, complete with portion sizes and ingredient details. Save My Grandpa
"Save My Grandpa" is an augmented reality (AR) guide for performing CPR. It visually guides the user through each CPR step, from checking safety and consciousness to positioning hands and keeping a steady rhythm. The AR interface ensures users can keep both hands free for CPR while receiving clear, timely instructions directly in their field of view.
Portals
During our time at Stanford, we noticed a gap in how technology could be leveraged to educate and engage users with diverse cultural and musical heritages. We envisioned a tool that not only celebrates these traditions but also promotes inclusivity and environmental consciousness. The idea of using Snap Spectacles as the medium for this experience was driven by their widespread use and the powerful AR capabilities they offer.
HoloDine
SnapDine elevates the dining experience by replacing traditional paper menus with an immersive, interactive interface. LingoSnap
There was a story about a Grandpa who learnt how to speak English by placing Post-it notes on everything he could get his hands on, just to converse with his grandsons and grand-daughters that lived far away. This let him actively remember the words because he was always looking at the words. With the invention of the Spectacle, we figured we could utilize this method and make this accessible to everyone so that everyone can actively learn while going through their daily life.
RecovARy
We were inspired to build RecovARy after attending Physical Therapy for the last few weeks. I, Pratham Pilli, was diagnosed with muscle spasms in my neck. After being diagnosed with muscle knots by experienced doctors, I was told the only way to fix this challenging and painful obstacle was to increase mobility in my body.
gitAR
We have created a development tool that represents git trees in the AR environment of the Snap Spectacles. Using its hand tracking, we enable the user to move commits around with their hands, even creating merge requests when the user brings two commits together. To make the commits more understandable, we incorporated Google Gemini to summarize code differences between commits, making complex Git visualization tasks easier, to the point where you can consider it an educational tool.
SpectaCare
SpectaCare enhances the consultation experience by transcribing conversations between doctors and patients, providing key points and potential diagnoses in real time based on the discussion. It allows doctors to capture key moments with the Snap Spectacles camera, saving them as screenshots. And at the end of each consultation, SpectaCare generates a comprehensive, AI-powered report that can be edited before being saved as a PDF, helping doctors maintain accurate records effortlessly.
Echo
Communication generates vast amounts of information, yet much of it is lost or difficult to visualize in real-time. Inspired by the need for better ways to organize and interpret spoken interactions, Echo was born. We wanted to create a tool that not only captures conversations but also enhances the way we interact with them, using AR to display real-time data. By doing this, we aim to bridge the gap between spoken communication and actionable insights, ensuring that no key information is missed.
Loss Landscape in a Lens
This project directly applies the Visualizing the Loss Landscape of Neural Nets paper by rendering these loss landscapes using the Snap Spectacles. With wearable tech and smart glasses like the Snap Spectacles, we can finally have an immersive experience in AR to better visualize the shapes of these 3D surface plots, and have visibility into more fine-grain or precise details. The differences that the paper finds when comparing how different model architectures lead to different loss surfaces and optimization trajectories can be clearly seen when viewing through the Snap Spectacles.
NutriLens
NutriLens was inspired by the growing emphasis on health and wellness, and the challenge many people face in understanding the nutritional content of their meals, especially when dining out or trying new dishes. The idea was to leverage technology to provide instant access to detailed nutritional information, making it easier for individuals to make informed dietary choices.
SnapChest
This game integrates the Spectacles gear and smartphones together by allowing users to leverage the gyroscopic, haptic, and tactile functionalities of phones to control or receive input about their AR environment. In the game, users have to track down randomly placed treasure chests in their surrounding environment by using their phone as a sensor that begins vibrating when the user is facing a treasure and enters stronger modes of haptic feedback as users get closer to the treasure spots.

Major Decisions
As students, we often face uncertainty when deciding which major or career path to choose. There's a lack of personalized guidance that takes into account our unique backgrounds, skills, and interests. We wanted to create a tool that not only recommends a tailored academic and career plan but also adapts over time to changes in our goals and experiences.
Eye Cook
EyeCook is an augmented reality app that intelligently recommends recipes to users based on a picture of available ingredients. Snap Spectacles was the perfect platform for this since instructions, timers, and ingredients follow you wherever you look and you do not need to touch anything to interact with them. Our system gives step-by-step instructions for each dish, notes potential allergens, and provides a hands-free interface for easy use while cooking.

By tracking head and upper body positioning, SnapStraight helps users maintain healthy posture, reduce discomfort, and increase productivityβall while keeping it fun and engaging through interactive feedback.
My AR Pup
My AR Pup is inspired by the concept of 'Dog Yoga (Doga)'. 'Doga' is a special form of yoga that not only advocates for a stronger relationship between humans and dogs, but also acts as a health benefit by alleviating stress and anxiety. However, accessibility issues, allergies, and other limitations may limit dog lovers from engaging in this activity. In My AR Pup, users are introduced to an accessible and unique fitness environment.
RunRing
RunRing generates rings along your running route that you can collect as you run, and tracks your score, providing constant dopamine hits as you work towards meeting your exercise quota. There's also fun 3D creatures and nature spawned along your path to enhance your running experience and make it more visually pleasant.
XR Aid
Provides step-by-step instructions on how to provide CPR by creating an overlay over the injured user and visualizing where to do chest compressions. We then "stream" the user's perspective to an emergency responder, where they're able to give further feedback on how to provide aid where the technology cannot.
Snap Cook
Our team was inspired to create this AR-powered smart cooking assistant after realizing how much time we spend juggling recipe books, timers, and various devices while cooking. We wanted to simplify the process and make it more enjoyable, so we combined our love for food with cutting-edge tech. By using AR on the Snapchat Spectacles, we could float essential cooking tools right in front of the user, allowing for a hands-free and more interactive experience. This project ties directly into wellness and health by encouraging home cooking, which is often a healthier alternative to takeout or processed foods. With easy-to-follow, visual recipe cards and timers right in view, we hope to help more people cook from scratch without the pain of a cluttered culinary environment, leading to more mindful eating habits and a greater connection to what's on their plate.
Memo Lens
Our project, "Empowering Memories," was born out of a personal experience with a loved one struggling with Alzheimer's. Witnessing the challenges they faced in daily interactions and the frustration of forgetting familiar faces was a profound inspiration for us. We wanted to create a solution that could help those affected retain a sense of connection and independence.

Help autistic kids learn to communicate more efficiently
Pathfinder
Many people struggle with maintaining an exercise routine due to a lack of motivation or finding exercise boring. By gamifying the running experience with AR elements such as coins and achievements, this app adds a fun, interactive layer that encourages users to go out for a run and stay engaged.
Shared Paths
Our project was centralized around mass-automated data collection that we could utilize to then model through the Snap AR platform (with the key interaction between the user and our interactive 3-D visual display being through the new spectacles). We developed web-scraping software that collected key statistics regarding the natural disasters (from naturals disasters APIs) as well as correlating this data with UNHCR's multiple refugee APIs to help map out major natural disasters within the past 5 years and identifying key moments of climate migration/movement of climate refugees from across the globe. We then intended to take this data and map it onto a three-d visual globe through the Snap AR platform where users could pinch out chunks of an AR globe and visualize how key natural disasters had played out from different parts of the globe (our platform was unable to support all of our data, so we only had a few key point examples of natural disaster visualizations). This serves the idea of Tech for Social Good by helping bring awareness to the environmental concerns regarding climate refugees as well as giving users first-hand, interactive experiences with what these natural disasters would have looked like.

Our aim is to simplify the concept of sustainability, demonstrating how recycling helps reduce pollution and conserve resources. By making environmental responsibility easy to grasp, we hope RecycleVision will inspire young learners to adopt greener habits and empower them to make eco-friendly decisions for a better future.
SurgARy
surARgy is a AR lens that can be accessed with Snap spectacles to allow surgeons to perform safer surgeries. We start with a website that our surgeon can enter the patient data and information. The doctors are then able to get feedback on the steps that need to be taken for the surgery and can edit them prior to the surgery. These are the instructions that will be used to assist the surgeon during the procedure. The lens includes a 3D model based of the 2D scans of the patient for the surgeon to better understand the issue and have it accessible throughout the surgery for reference. They can rotate, resize, and relocate the model at any point. On the other hand, there is a set of instructions on the surgery that are being communicated to the surgeon, and using voice-to-command the surgeon can say "Next" and get the next instruction for the surgery.

SpeckTackles
Step 1: AR Interaction: Users interact with a virtual marker (e.g., light switch) through the AR interface on their SnapAR Spectacles. The marker is detected using Lens Studio's image-tracking capabilities. Step 2: Data Flow: Once the user interacts with the marker, a JavaScript event is triggered, sending data (e.g., toggle light) to Firebase. Step 3: Firebase Update: Firebase processes the input and sends a command to the hardware (via Python) to physically toggle the smart home device (like a light switch) connected to a Raspberry Pi. Step 4: User Feedback: The result (light on/off) is instantly displayed back to the user through their AR glasses, completing the feedback loop.
PinPreview
While prototyping circuits on a breadboard, engineers often need to reference pin diagrams to ensure inputs and outputs for ICs (the black rectangular chips) are wired correctly. These specifications are found in manufacturer datasheets, where a massive amount of information is provided. Getting to these datasheets can often be a tedious process, requiring reading the part number, typing the long alphanumeric sequence into a web browser, opening the datasheet, and scrolling through 50+ pages to find the proper pin layout.
WizARdly Horrors
Our project is an AR wave based survival game where you are thrown right into the middle of a fight between wizards and the spooky ghosts. You can use the easy mobility allowed by the Snap Spectacles to run away from the ghosts or use a gesture to cast a spell and fight back. Some spells are easy to land but do little damage while others are hard to land but do a lot of damage - as such, different spells work best for different enemies.
