Overview

Lens Studio AI (Beta) is an AI-powered tool from Snap AR that simplifies the creation of Lenses. It is an agentic AI system that can help you build, debug, and generate Lenses.

Prior to Lens Studio 5.15, you may have used Easy Lens--which is now accessible in the "Creator" mode of Lens Studio AI.

The Lens Studio AI panel also provides you access directly to various AI capabilites, like generating assets. Take a look at the GenAI Suite section to learn more.

Getting Started

Launching Lens Studio AI

1. Navigate to the Lens Studio AI button in the top right corner of Lens Studio.

   

   Alternatively, you can create a new Workspace:

   

2. You will see Lens Studio AI show up immediately, allowing you to start prompting. Or, you can click on the + icon on the side panel to access it.

   

3. At the bottom of the chat panel, you can access various AI to help you build your Lens Creation.

   • Creator: will turn your text prompt into a Lens. This is a great way to make Lenses by providing a few key words.
   • Developer: will act more like a copilot--helping you access various parts of Lens Studio, analyze your scene, debug your Lens and more. However, you will need to provide it more guidance.
   
   If you've used Lens Studio AI before 5.15, you have been using the Creator mode.
