Easy Lens Overview

Easy Lens is an AI tool for creating augmented reality (AR) Lenses for Snapchat using plain text. It's built for when you don't want to touch the implementation details, you just want to describe an effect, outfit, background, or game in plain language and keep refining it the same way. Unlike Snap's other AI tools for making Lenses, which give you more control over the build, Easy Lens trades that control for natural-language iteration: no coding, rigging, or 3D modeling required.

What you can do with Easy Lens

• Generate a Lens from a prompt. Type a description such as "Make me a pirate" and Easy Lens builds it.
• Refine through conversation. Easy Lens asks clarifying questions and lets you add, remove, or adjust elements over multiple turns.
• Combine AR building blocks. Easy Lens draws on AI-enabled components—face effects, 3D objects, backgrounds, stickers, text, beautification, and more—to compose your Lens.
• Remix and iterate. Start from an example prompt or an existing concept, then stack on new ideas.
• Publish and share. Send your Lens to friends or publish it to Snapchat for the world to discover.
