Media Picker

The Media Picker Texture enables a Lens to display an image or video from the user’s device. The Image Picker Collage asset shows how to place the media in a designated area.

Image Picker Collage Asset

Find the Image Picker Collage asset in the Asset Library and import it into your project. Click here to learn more about how to use assets in the Asset Library. Once you import the asset from Asset Library, you can find the package in the Asset Browser. Follow the instructions and drag the prefab Image Picker Collage into Scene Hierarchy undert Orthgraphic Camera to create a new Scene Object. You can right-click and select Unpack for Editing from the drop-down menu to unpack all assets stored in the bundle.

In the Preview panel, click on the Screen Image to open the media picker. Then choose the media to show the media in the Screen Image.

Click the Screen Image again to reselect the media.

Click on the Image Picker Collage__PUT_IN_ORTHO_CAM to adjust settings in the Inspector panel.

Click on each child of the Image Picker Collage__PUT_IN_ORTHO_CAM and follow the instructions to apply changes. Double click on the child to open 2D Scene panel and move the Screen Image around.
